Abstract: The effects of the time (15 June, 30 June, 15 July, 30 July, 15 August, 30 August, 15 September, 30 September, and 15 October) of air layering, chip budding and wedge grafting on the propagation of karonda were studied in Jhargram, West Bengal, India, in 2006 and 2007. For air layering, rooting and field establishment were greatest (90 and 82%, respectively) when propagation was conducted on 15 June. Budding success (60%), shoot length (22 cm) and number of leaves (30) were also greatest when chip budding was conducted on 15 June..
